Audencia has created the very first global research center aimed at transforming the accounting of tomorrow!

It's a world first and it's signed Audencia! The very first global research centre aimed at transforming tomorrow's accounting was born, offering integrated multi-capital accounting to companies of all sizes. It is the new "Global Multi-Capital Performance" chair, supported by three founding partners of choice: L'Oréal, Danone, PwC France and Maghreb. The chair's patrons also include Datamaran, InVivo, the French Institute of Internal Audit and Control (IFACI) and the French National Association of Statutory Auditors (CNCC).

Transforming the finance function

At a time when companies have an immense role to play in preparing the world of tomorrow, this research centre aims to strengthen multi-capital measurement and control systems through innovation, participate in international standardisation in the field and support the transformation of teams and professions, in France and around the world. Over the last few months, many mission-oriented companies have been created in response to the need to transform existing models.

The "Multi-Capital Global Performance" chair aims to go beyond 100% financial accounting to strengthen the company's multi-capital measurement and control systems (financial, social, environmental, cultural, etc.). Through its network of experts and stakeholders, the chair participates in international standardisation in the field. Then, through the dissemination of its work and collaboration with organisations, it responds to the ambition to support the transformation of the teams and professions concerned, particularly within finance departments.

Delphine Gibassier, professor at Audencia and world academic expert in sustainable development accounting, is the holder of this chair. She is also a member of the project group on preparatory work for the development of possible European standards for non-financial information (PTF-NFRS).

Prestigious founding partners

The "Multi-capital Global Performance" Chair is supported by several nationally and internationally renowned partners. L'Oréal, Danone and PwC France and Maghreb are the three major founding partners.

Within Audencia, this new chair already offers concrete teaching. Grande École students have the opportunity to take a course on the societal impact of companies or to take an interest in the many case studies published in recent months. Finally, continuing education programs are about to be launched, including the Chief Value Officer MBA, which will open in 2021.
