Digitisation in the spotlight during the second conference of the AAGIR series for business leaders

After a first session in July, APIA (Associated Independent Professional Administrators) and Audencia organised a second conference for business leaders, as part of the AAGIR series (APIA and Audencia for an Innovative and Responsible Governance). The objectives of this second session was to identify the challenges of an innovative governance in times of crisis.

This conference, organised remotely, took place on Thursday, November 5 and was about "the challenges of digitisation for governance". Yves Brochart, President of APIA Grand Ouest introduced the conference, which was moderated by Catherine Boucher, Director of Marché Industries Agro-Alimentaires.

Three speakers then contributed in their capacity as managers, administrators and experts in digital transformation: 

• Jean-Luc Biache, Business-angel, Co-founder and Member of the board of the company TALAN and member of the board of 4 startup
•  Marie-Odile Lhomme, Director of Digital Transformation at Audencia
• Yann Trichard, Leader of SYD - Speakylink and President of the CCI Nantes St-Nazaire

 What lessons can be learned?

Beyond the impact on tools and processes, digital transformation is a new way of creating value by questioning its components: the customer, the organisation and the company's partners.

On the Governance side, the strategy and its orientations must be discussed and approved by the Board of Directors. The question of the Administrator’s profile and their ability to support the company is key to success.

The third conference will focus on the need to measure the multi-capital performance of companies (environmental, social, financial, cultural, etc.). Date to be confirmed in a near future.
