Sustainable development's week: biotiful place to work

While the fight against single-use plastics has been going on for years, the health crisis we're going through is promoting its big comeback... As a responsible actor, let's act now to limit the ecological and health impact of plastics! From 1st to 5th June,Audencia was mobilized! Together, let's imagine the solutions and alternatives to plastic to have the most positive impact possible on a daily basis.

The event was dematerialized and opened to all internal stakeholders! The aim of the event was to mobilize all of Audencia's internal stakeholders around the theme of plastic pollution. This week was an opportunity to exchange live with WWF experts on the consequences of plastic pollution on oceans and marine life, to discover magnificent documentaries with the family, to discover plastic alternatives.

Every year, it is estimated that at least 8 million tons of plastics end up in our oceans and this figure is constantly increasing. According to Isabelle Autissier, President of WWF France, plastic pollution of our oceans could double by 2030, threatening marine life and our own health.

In this context, Audencia has been committed since 2018 with its historical partner WWF France to eliminate unnecessary plastics on its campuses. Today, we are committed to mobilizing internal stakeholders and their families during a week dedicated to this global issue.
